Maira Medina is a Physician, Surgeon, and a strategic pillar in the institutional evolution of aesthetic medicine. With her academic foundation from Universidad Metropolitana, she serves as a member of the Board of Directors at Clínica Reina Catalina and has been the Director of the Fundación Instituto Ricardo Manzur since 2003.

As an expert in tissue regeneration —with a Master’s degree from the prestigious Federal University of Sao Paulo (UNIFESP)— Dr. Medina leads the postoperative protocols for our patients. Her scientific expertise makes her the right hand to our plastic surgeons, managing the recovery protocols of the program to ensure optimal outcomes and accelerated healing.

Beyond her strategic leadership, she is the General Coordinator of the International Congress of Aesthetic Medicine and Cosmetology in Barranquilla, where she champions the advancement of regenerative medicine knowledge. Her focus ensures that the patient experience at Queen Catalina is comprehensive, blending surgical precision with cutting-edge postoperative care rooted in cellular science.
